Punjab University, Chandigarh
Lahore’s University of Punjab was founded in 1882. (now in Pakistan). Punjab University has been awarded an “A” Grade with a CGPA of 3.35 on a four-point scale, valid for a period of five years beginning on June 25, 2015. Times Higher Education’s Asian University rankings 2015 place it first among Indian universities and 38th overall in Asia.
In the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, 2014-2015 powered by Thomson Reuters, it was ranked number one in India and in the bracket 276-300 globally. BRICS & Emerging Economies are ranked 39th by the Times Higher Education. The university campus is spread out over 550 acres (2.2 km2) across Chandigarh’s sectors 14 and 25.
At the main campus in Chandigarh, the university contains 78 teaching and research departments, as well as 15 teaching and research centres and chairs.

ELIGIBILITY :-
50 percent marks in a state/central government-run 10+2 examination recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as comparable to a 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and one of the following subjects: – Mathematical Sciences/Biology/Biotechnology.
Combination of CET UG Subjects (1)Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) OR (2) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM).

For each incorrect answer, 25% of the total marks for the question will be deducted. The Entrance Test syllabus is based on the CBSE Syllabi for 10+1 and 10+2 for the 2018-20 school year. Depending on the course(s) and subjects covered in 10 + 2 or its equivalent test, the candidate will be required to select a suitable combination of subjects. PCB / PCM is a combination.
