Jamia Hamdard University, formerly known as “JAMIA HAMDARD,” is a deemed university. It has a large campus and offers a variety of degrees, including B. Tech, Food Technology, MBBS, Nursing, PHARMACY (NIRF RANK 1), and many others, all of which are largely related to medical fields. Jamia Hamdard’s mission is to deliver international quality higher education in the domains of social sciences, natural resources, and technology, with a focus on contemporary and traditional medicine. School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER)
This university’s PHARMACY course is ranked first in the NIRF rankings. It’s all thanks to the amazing and smart professors. The Diploma course began in 1972 and is associated with the Delhi Board of Technical Education. The B. Pharm course at Delhi University began in 1973. The M. Pharma in Pharmacognosy programme began in 1982. The M. Pharma course in all four fields began in 1986.
Bioinformatics Information Center, Nanomedicine lab, Bioactive natural products labs, Microbial and Pharmaceutical Technology lab, Advanced Chemistry Facilities lab, and other state-of-the-art research laboratories are also available at the school. As evidenced by yearly publications, all departments are actively engaged in research.
Nanodrug design and delivery, Prodrugs, Metabolomics, Computer Aided Drug Design, Environmentally Friendly Processes and Synthesis of Prodrugs and Mutual Prodrugs, cardiovascular pharmacology, Neuro-pharmacology, and medicinal agent evaluation are some of the topics of research. In the last five years, the School has published over 800 research papers in SCI indexed reputable journals and applied for over 25 patents.
Duration: Four Years (8 Semesters)
Seats: 120 (60 General and 60 SFS, inclusive of seats reserved for NRI/Sponsored candidates.

Eligibility: A candidate must have:
Passed the Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics from the Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognised by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate and in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
As per PCI guidelines, you must be at least 17 years old.
Selection procedure: Appeared in NEET/JEE Paper 1 (Main). Selection will be made on the basis of performance in NEET/JEE Paper-1 (Main). Non-NEET/non-JEE candidates are also welcome to apply, but NEET/JEE candidates will be given priority. Non-NEET/non-JEE candidates will only be considered if a sufficient number of NEET/JEE candidates are not available. Non-NEET/non-JEE applicants will be chosen based on the aggregate percentage of the first five subjects of the qualifying test if such a situation arises. The number of NEET/JEE seats available will be determined by the number of applications submitted in each category (NEET/JEE or PCB/PCM stream).
