Project Title : Investigating novel GABA producing bacteria as Anti-Epileptics.

Description of the Project : The project involves evaluating GABA producing probiotic strains as anti-epileptics using animal models of epilepsy.
Interview : The shortlisted candidates for the interview will be intimated through email.

Upper age limit (Yr) : 30 (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ WOMEN/PWD as per GoI Rules)

Educational qualification and experience / Skill : Essential qualifications : M.S (Pharm) / M. Pharm in Pharmacology /Pharmacology and Toxicology or equivalent with minimum of 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA. GPAT/NET/GATE qualified candidate will be preferred Candidates with experience in behavioural animal studies and knowledge of cell and molecular biology will be preferred.

Salary (Rs.) : 37,000/-and HRA as per ANRF norms

Terms and conditions
1. The above position is purely contractual for a tenure of 1 year which may be extended based on the performance of the candidate up to a maximum of 3 years or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier. The continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance. 
2. Selected candidate will not be entitled to claim for regular appointment/absorption in the institute. 
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. 
4. Applications reaching after specified time may not be entertained. 
5. Valid GPAT/GATE qualification is mandatory. 
6. Candidates with prior experience of working in a funded project will be preferred. 
7. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
