DIPSAR, currently known as DPSRU, has received NBA accreditation for D. Pharm., B. Pharm., and M. Pharm. The Pharmacy Council of India has authorized the university’s numerous pharmacy programme (PCI). The university offers comprehensive pharmacy programme and is ranked among India’s top pharmacy schools. It features a large campus with many extracurricular activities in addition to the pharmacy programme.

ELIGIBILITY
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) / Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.)
A candidate seeking admission to First Semester B. Pharm. or First-Year D. Pharm. must have passed:
- Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE, New Delhi (12 year Course) or the ISE with English as one of the subjects and (P.C.M) and/or (P.C.B. / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects from Recognized Schools in the National Capital Territory of Delhi with 55 percent or above marks in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (PCB/M). OR
- 10+2 examination with English as one of the subjects and (P.C.M.) and/or (P.C.B. / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55 percent or above aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and (P.C.M.) and/or (P.C (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics). OR
- Any other qualification recognized as comparable to any of the aforementioned tests by the Pharmacy Council of India. OR an intermediate science examination from an Indian university, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M.) and/or Biology (P.C.B. / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects, with 55 percent or higher in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (PCB/M)).
- Candidates who have been awarded grades in the examination which make them eligible for admission should also submit a conversion certificate of numerical marks from the concerned authority.
M. Pharm
A candidate seeking admission to First Semester M. Pharm. must have passed:
- B. Pharm. Degree examination from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55 % of the maximum marks*(Aggregate of II, III, and IV yrs/or III to VIII semesters of B. Pharm)
- The merit list of candidates for admission will be in accordance with the following criteria:
- 50% weightage for marks in theory and practically taken together in II, III and IV yrs (or III to VIII semesters)
- 50% weightage for GPAT score Candidate seeking admission to the M. Pharm. and MBA in Pharmaceutical Management course must have passed the Bachelor of Pharmacy examination with at least 55%in the aggregate of theory and practical of II, III and IV years/ III to VIII Semester from PCI approved Institute /University.
*GPAT QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHALL BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION FIRST.
- Non-GPAT candidates may be considered for admission on the basis of merit if GPAT candidates are not available. Non-Delhi candidates (including those from the Delhi NCR) having a valid GPAT score and a finished B. Pharm. examination with a 55 percent basis of selection from a PCI/AICTE accredited university will fill 15% of the total seats. The remaining 85% of total seats will be filled by graduates from Delhi Colleges/Universities with valid GPAT scores, in order of discipline preference.
- Out of 85% seats of Delhi category, 70% seats will be given to DIPSAR/DPSRU candidates and remaining 15% will be reserved for Delhi Non-DPSRU candidates from NCT of Delhi.
- If there are multiple candidates with the same score, the applicant who is older will be given preference. If there are no GPAT students available in the 15% Non-Delhi category, students with GPAT from the Delhi category will be considered.
- In case sufficient numbers of Delhi students with GPAT are not available against the 85% of seats, the seats will go to Non-Delhi students with valid GPAT score.
- If seats remain empty after non-Delhi GPAT qualified candidates have been exhausted, they would be offered to Delhi Non GPAT applicants. If seats are still available, the Non-Delhi Non-GPAT can be considered.
- Candidates seeking admission to M. Pharm. course must be more than 21 years of age as on 31st December 2019. The final merit list for all categories of M. Pharm. will be displayed on the Notice Board / Website of the University.
- Admission to various courses will be offered to the candidates strictly according to the order of merit given in the merit list.
